What a view through the front door. Do we really need a door?

These pictures were taken from my iPhone. Before we left on Friday, I charged the battery for my camera and left it in the charger back at the apartment. This move has damaged more brain cells and I didn't have many good ones to spare.

Nervous Nellie sitting in her window.

Looking through the dining room windows.

This is the view from the hallway above. Thankfully, this time we were able to go up the stairs! The scaffolding is still in the same place where Tex shimmied up to the peak last time we were out there. Friday evening as we stood inside looking out this window a baby aoudad sheep was staring back at us.
Somewhere in the distance in this picture is I-20. When we were driving home it was so exciting to see the speck on the bluff that is our house under construction. When the metal roof is on, it will be even more prominent. Before we always had to guess just where we were on the bluff. Now we know!

P.S. For some reason, in recent posts, the last paragraphs run together with my sign-off. I don't know how to fix this and my previous blog manager has tried to help me out with this problem. Guess it will be a permanent quirk on this blog. Just know that I've tried!
What a view is right!! When I come to visit, just give me a chair and a glass of wine and I will be in heaven!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the view!! Just think of all the wildlife you can see - set up a telescope in front of the window! I'm excited to see more pictures - things are happening fast!!
